Do I have a thrombosed external hemorrhoid?A thrombosed external hemorrhoid sounds like a very alarming condition, but if you have a one or even if you think you might have one, don’t panic. Thrombosed external hemorrhoids are painful (and unsightly, if it’s prolapsed) but they are not life-threatening like deep-vein thrombosis. Thrombosed external hemorrhoid is much more common than internal ones. This is because external haemorrhoids are more prone to the damage that causes the thrombosis. Internal ones are protected from the knocks, bumps and pressure that does the damage. Internal prolapsed haemorrhoids, however, may become strangulated if the anus tightens around the hemorrhoid and squeezes it. As you can imagine, this is very painful. Prevention is the best cure for thrombosed external hemorrhoid, and for every other type of hemorrhoid: prolapsed, internal and external. Common methods of treating hemorrhoids involve increasing the amount of dietary fibre and using ice packs to numb the pain. Following the right method of treatment can make all types of hemorrhoid disappear completely – without surgery. If you suffer from thrombosed external haemorrhoid, or if you suspect of having one. Not all is lost. There are many natural remedies that can help you overcome thing unsightly problem. One of the most common suggestions you get is to take a sitz bath. For best results, complete this by sitting on a ice pack covered by a towel. The heat and cold alteration will help with inflammation and this gets your blood moving, taking away some of the cell toxins that is the cause for your thrombosed haemorrhoid. 2 comments to Do I have a thrombosed external hemorrhoid? |

Hello,
You just said that by alternating between a hot and cold bath,s you can naturally reduce the size of your thrombosed hemorrhoid? does this work for internal as well as external ones and all grades of hemorrhoids?
Seriah
The alternating hot and cold won\’t work as well for the internal ones. It really depends on you and your hemorrhoid issue. I was told I could take a bath to help relieve discomfort for my external one. Is H Miracle really the best? See what others say. http://www.thechoice1productsreviews.com/hemorrhoidcure/
